I am a licensed clinical social worker with a MSW and
have been practicing independently since 2002. I earned my
masters degree from the University of Denver in 1994.
I currently work with all age ranges and am especially
interested in cross-cultural issues. I have been in the field of mental
health since 1986 and during that time have worked with a wide range of
ages and issues. I have experience with children from 4 and up. I
enjoy couples work and have experience with grief counseling.
I have worked in both clinic and hospital settings and
also have worked in homes dealing with parenting issues for children
with severe, emotional, problems.
My experience is extensive with chronic and persistent
mental illness-i.e., schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, depression,
personality disorders.
My training also includes previous training with Dr.
Harville Hendrix in the area of Imago Relationship Therapy. Likewise I
have also had training under Dr. David Burns M.D. in the area of
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy.
