More About Hildie: |
Hildie Newman, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, has
been in private practice for over 20 years. She earned her Masters of
Social Work Degree from the University of Denver and has a Bachelor of
Science degree in Elementary Education. Hildie
has had additional training in “Imago Therapy” which is couples therapy
based on the work of Harville Hendrix. Hildie worked for 15 years as a
school social worker both at Jewish Family Service and the Cherry Creek
School District. She specializes in couples, families, parenting issues,
and women’s issues as well as in working with adults, children and
adolescents. She has also facilitated Bruce Fisher divorce groups and
plans to do more of these in the future.
Focusing on strengths and resilience enables Hildie to
facilitate short term therapy. This enables clients to rapidly tune into
their inner resources and promotes growth and healing. In her free time,
Hildie likes to walk, hike, bike, do ballroom dancing, and travel. She
is the mother of three adult children. |
