My educational background includes a Bachelors in
Anthropology and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University
of Colorado. My post-graduate education includes a Masters of Science
(in Nursing) and prescriptive authority. I’ve
worked in the field of psychiatric nursing for almost 25 years. This has
involved inpatient, outpatient, emergency and community experience. Most
recently I’ve been doing outpatient psychiatric care in an outpatient
clinic or in my own practice.
My specializations include treating adults with
bipolar disorder, psychoses, anxiety disorders, and ADD. I also have
some experience in treating those with the co-morbid conditions of
addictions and developmental delays. |
